Dear List, RE: the Baddeley and Hitch model of working memory In this model there is the visuo-spatial sketch pad with a component dealing with spatial information. This seems to be separate from the phonological or articulatory loop and I was wondering are there any theories indicating that there is an equivalent in terms of auditory spatialization? Or is there an integration between auditory information in the phonological loop and the visuo-spatial sketchpad and if so is this covered in the model by the episodic buffer? is mise le meas, Flaithri Neff.
