Applicants must have a Ph.D. or ABD status in cognitive psychology, cognitive neuroscience, or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates who can teach some combination of the following undergraduate courses (listed in order of importance): research methods and statistics, sensation and perception, cognitive psychology, physiological psychology, capstone seminar in psychology, introductory psychology. Preferred applicants will also demonstrate promise for a high-quality research program, a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching, and a strong commitment to a collegial environment. Responsibilities will also include supervising student research and serving on departmental, school and university committees. The Department of Psychology seeks to attract an active, culturally and academically diverse faculty of the highest caliber. The School of Education is fully committed to a culturally diverse faculty and student body.
