I'm not familiar with this research, although I know that the Shriver Center (U Mass Med School) is doing some research on auditory discriminations in autism. I helped review a grant proposal on this a few years ago. You might suggest that they contact William Dube at the Shriver Center. =20 Cheers, Dorothy =20 ________________________________ Dorothea C. You may know that typically people are very good at localizing sounds. It looks as if they=B9re finding that autistic folks are different in this regard. Due t= o the way they process/percieve sound they find it very difficult to focus on a single source. =20 Anyway, I thought I would drop you a quick email to see if you have any information or know of any referneces we should be checking out? =20 Thanks in advance, Nick =20 =20 ------ End of Forwarded Message ------ End of Forwarded Message --B_3309246032_25449462 Content-type: text/html; charset="ISO-8859-1" Content-transfer-encoding: quoted-printable <HTML> <HEAD> <TITLE>FW: [AUDITORY] FW: Autistic Source Localisation</TITLE> </HEAD> <BODY> <FONT FACE=3D"Calibri, Verdana, Helvetica, Arial"><SPAN STYLE=3D'font-size:11pt= '>A colleague of mine who does work with Autism had this to offer...<BR> </SPAN></FONT><FONT SIZE=3D"2"><FONT FACE=3D"Times New Roman"><SPAN STYLE=3D'font= -size:10pt'><BR> <BR> </SPAN></FONT><SPAN STYLE=3D'font-size:10pt'><FONT FACE=3D"Calibri, Verdana, He= lvetica, Arial"><BR> <FONT COLOR=3D"#808080">************************************************<BR> S.
