Many thanks to all of you for all the helpful suggestions and input I got to my request, and particular thanks to Robert Port, who pointed out to me that the figure in question appears to come from a book chapter authored by Bertrand Delgutte and published in `Auditory neural processing of speech' in W. Hardcastle and J. Laver `The Handbook of Phonetic Sciences' Oxford: Blackwell, 1997 pp. 507-538.
