Experiments will involve healthy controls, as well as subjects wit= h selective deficits (i.e. phonagnosia, prosopagnosia, specific language im= pairment). An emphasis will be placed on linking the experimental work to c= omputational models of dynamic perception and action.=20 The research will be conducted at the MPI-CBS in Leipzig, Germany, an inter= nationally leading centre for cognitive and imaging neuroscience equipped w= ith a 7.0 T MRI scanner, two 3.0 T MRI scanners, a 306 channels MEG system,= a TMS system and several EEG systems. All facilities and data analysis are= supported by experienced IT and physics staff.=20 PhD positions:=20 The candidates must have a master degree (or equivalent) in neuroscience, m= edicine, psychology, or a related field. Proficiency in oral and written En= glish is necessary. PhD students will have the opportunity to participate i= n an International Max-Planck Research School .=20 Post-doc positions:=20 The candidates must have a PhD (or equivalent) in neuroscience, medicine, p= sychology, or a related field and should be able to demonstrate a consisten= tly outstanding academic record including publications.=20 Starting date for all positions is flexible.
