Dear list, I received many helpful pointers in response to my plea for references on children and complex pitch perception. I'm still compiling, but have put up what I've got so far at the site below. Hope you find this helpful. Please let me know if there's stuff that really should be in there, etc. Lori Leibold was kind enough to share a chapter she's written with Lynne Werner for an upcoming book: I can't wait to see the chapter and the book in print, it was extremely helpful. Note that there's other stuff on children's frequency resolution, tonal pitch perception etc. that I haven't included here. http://sites.google.com/site/auditorystuff/home/children_pitch-references Cheers, and thanks to all those who contributed! mc M Chatterjee, Ph.D. Director, Cochlear Implants and Psychophysics Laboratory Associate Professor, Hearing and Speech Sciences, 0100 LeFrak Hall University of Maryland College Park, MD 20742 (301) 405 7716 http://www.bsos.umd.edu/hesp/facultyStaff/chatterjeem.htm
