The lab's research focuses on the use of fMRI to quantitatively investigate the relationship between brain and behavior. The goal of the project is to study the neural correlates of musical structure. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in neuroscience, psychology, or other relevant disciplines. Important criteria include good oral and written communication skills, computing skills, a working knowledge of Matlab, and competence in statistics. The ideal candidate would also have some musical background, particularly a working knowledge of music theory.
