Dear List, I am looking for an open-source music classifier that can work on digital audio recordings of the inside of a home, and detect when music was playing. The audio is relatively high quality. There is sometimes a bit of background noise (e.g., coffee grinder, tv, etc). The recording is from a typical household so there are all the sounds that you would expect in this setting, including speech. Any pointers to open-source, trainable algorithms would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Ani Patel Aniruddh D. Patel, Ph.D. Esther J.
