Applications are invited for a Research Assistant to perform and analyse ex= periments investigating human hearing, including tests of sound segregation= and pitch perception by normal-hearing listeners, patients with cochlear i= mplants, and patients with Auditory Brainstem Implants. This is a fixed te= rm position for 9 months. You will be highly motivated and proactive, with a degree in psychology, ph= ysiology, engineering, audiology, or a closely related subject. Experience = in scientific research, particularly with human volunteers, is important, a= s is familiarity with computer programming and statistics. Experience with = testing hearing-impaired or cochlear-implant listeners is desirable. Good c= ommunication skills plus the ability to work as part of a team are essentia= l.
