Priority will be given to papers that provide a new perspective on some aspect of hearing, present new data concerning a phenomenon in hearing, or examine links between perception and physiology. </span></span><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"" lang=3D"EN-US">Only 60 contributed oral papers will be accepted; this is the number of reasonable length talks that fit comfortably into a one-week symposium with plenty of time for discussion. </span><span class=3D"contenido"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"" lang=3D"EN-US">The maximum number of participants will be about 100; a limited number of poster presentations will be accepted from participants not presenting oral papers. </span></span><span class=3D"contenido"><span lang=3D"EN-US"><o= :p></o:p></span></span></p> <p class=3D"MsoNormal"><span class=3D"contenido"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"" lang=3D"EN-US"><o:p>=A0</o:p><= /span></span></p> <p class=3D"MsoNormal"><span class=3D"contenido"><span style=3D"font-family:"Times New Roman","serif"" lang=3D"EN-US">The symposium proceedings will be published by Springer (New York) as a book with the provisional title "<b>Basic Aspects of Hearing: Physiology and Perception</b>." The tentative publication date for the book is summer 2013.
