This event will take place in Marseille, CNRS-LMA, October=20 15th-18th 2013. This year CMMR celebrates its 10th anniversary. For this=20 special occasion the symposium will be held in Marseille, the European=20 Capital of Culture 2013 (http://www.flyprovence.com/en/). ----------------------------------------------------------------- This year, for the first time, CMMR is in partnership with Th=E9=E2tre de= s=20 Bernardines (http://www.theatre-bernardines.org/) and Alhambra cinema=20 (http://www.alhambracine.com/) to present three evening concerts. Two=20 concerts will take place at Th=E9=E2tre des Bernardines during the CMMR=20 conference on the evenings of 15th and 16th October 2013 and one=20 concert/video projection will take place at Alhambra cinema on the=20 evening of 17th October 2013. We invite submissions for music=20 concerts, as well as for sound/media installations to be set up during=20 concert evenings. The conference will also feature poster/demonstration=20 sessions for which we invite submissions of musical interfaces. *Topics**:* Original contributions are encouraged in, but not limited to, the=20 following topics: . All performances related to the conference theme "Sound, Music=20 and Motion" (synthesis, composition, performance, music and motion for=20 the images) . Music for instruments and electroacoustic . Live or recorded electronic music for up to 8 channels . New digital instruments and new controllers / interfaces . Acoustic instrumental music composed by algorithmic tools . Music composed for visuals (e.g., dance and music,=20 soundtracks, multimedia compositions, applied music to dance and=20 movement in general etc.) . Performances of traditional music enhanced with live=20 visualisation or interactive technology . Jazz and improvised music - improvisation software . Installations and interactive pieces Submissions of any musical style or genre are warmly welcomed. For pieces involving traditional instruments, an ensemble consisting of=20 (but not reduced to) electric guitar, piano and percussion (1 player)=20 will be available. Authors are also encouraged to provide their own=20 interpreters/performers. Recorded stereo pieces will be diffused by their author or by an=20 interpreter on a system of 32 loudspeakers. Submissions of 15 minutes or less are preferred, however music of any=20 length will be considered. *Submission**:* All submissions will be peer-reviewed by an international music=20 committee (http://www.cmmr2013.cnrs-mrs.fr/MusicCommittee.html) to=20 ensure quality and suitability.
