As a Senior Research Audiologist, you will function within a multi-disciplinary, international team of scientists, engineers, and hearing professionals. Your clinical perspective will influence the team= =92s approach to development and implementation of changes in our current sound coding process. Job Duties: - Conduct research to evaluate sound coding strategies designed to improve outcomes with a cochlear implant. - Evaluate role of objective measures in fitting and operation of cochlear implant. - Design protocols for patient studies and determine the most appropriate behavioral and objective test measures for validation of product function. - Write and present final reports and/or scientific papers describing the findings. - Collaborate with a team of scientists and engineers. - Assist with transfer of successful technologies to R&D team. - As appropriate, initiate studies with external research centers.
