Candidates in all areas of cognitive and/or brain-based acquired or life-sp= an disorders of speech/language/communication will be considered. Candidat= es in the area of autism spectrum disorders, aging, dementia, TBI, Fragile = X, Down syndrome, Parkinson's disease and speech disorders, among others, a= re encouraged to apply. Minimum qualifications are: doctoral degree in speech, language and hearing= sciences, communication disorders and sciences, neuroscience, cognitive sc= ience, psychology, linguistics and related fields and a track record of pub= lications in peer-reviewed journals. Two-three years of teaching experience= is preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to have an active and independent= research program and to provide evidence of success in extra-mural researc= h funding. Candidates are expected to maintain their vigorous research pro= gram and have enthusiasm for undergraduate and graduate teaching. The succ= essful candidate will be expected to teach and mentor students in the depar= tment's clinical Master's SLP program and in the undergraduate and Ph.D. pr= ograms.
