********************************************* ASSISTANT/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR OPENING PURDUE UNIVERSITY The Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Purdue Universi= ty, West Lafayette, IN is seeking applications for an assistant or associat= e level tenure-track faculty position. Primary criteria are excellence in r= esearch and in teaching, and candidates from all areas of specialization ar= e encouraged to apply. Ph.D. is required in speech, language, or hearing sc= iences or a related field. Essential duties include teaching at the undergr= aduate and graduate level. This position is a 10-month appointment with an = earliest start date of Fall 2014.=20 Purdue has top-ranked clinical programs in Audiology and Speech-Language Pa= thology and strong ties to the Indiana University School of Medicine in Ind= ianapolis. Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences is a diverse and collegia= l department, with 22 research/tenure track and 15 clinical faculty. Facul= ty have the opportunity to capitalize on an extraordinarily productive netw= ork of collaborations and resources that includes strong support for inter-= disciplinary and translational research.
