--bcaec520eca5ffd40d04f484b2a7 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Hello All, I'm writing to announce and invite you to the 2nd Midwest Music Information Retrieval Gathering <http://music.eecs.northwestern.edu/mmirg/> (MMIRG) on Saturday June 14, 2014. The Midwest Music Information Retrieval Gathering is a one-day get together of music information and music audio processing researchers, held at Northwestern University just outside of Chicago in Evanston, IL. This will be a chance for research groups from the Midwest to meet and present research in a more relaxed and more affordable setting than is typical at IEEE and ACM-style conferences. Registration is free. Opportunities to present research as posters/talks/demos are available to registered participants. Parking and lunch will be provided free of charge for all presenters and attendees up a maximum of 50 registered attendees. Limited travel assistance funding will be available for long distance presenters in financial need. We held the first MMIRG in 2011. It was a great way to meet other researchers in the region and share ideas (and also a great excuse for many to come to Chicago for the weekend...). We are looking forward to seeing old and new faces here in Evanston on June 14. To register and for more information go to: http://music.eecs.northwestern.edu/mmirg/ Cheers, Mark Cartwright -- Mark Cartwright <mcartwright@xxxxxxxx> PhD Candidate in Computer Science Interactive Audio Lab <http://music.cs.northwestern.edu/>, Northwestern University www.markcartwright.com --bcaec520eca5ffd40d04f484b2a7 Content-Type: text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr"><div class=3D"im" style=3D"font-size:13px;font-family:Taho= ma"><div style=3D"font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:16px"><fo= nt color=3D"#000000">Hello All,
<div style=3D"font-family:'= Times New Roman';font-size:16px"> <font color=3D"#000000">

<div style=3D"font-family:'Tim= es New Roman';font-size:16px"><font color=3D"#000000">I'm writing t= o announce and invite you to the 2nd=A0<a href=3D"http://music.eecs.northwe= stern.edu/mmirg/">Midwest Music Information Retrieval Gathering=A0(<spa= n class=3D"">MMIRG) on=A0<span class=3D"" tabindex=3D"0"><span class= =3D"">Saturday June 14, 2014.
<div style=3D"font-family:'Times New Roman';font-size:16px"><font c= olor=3D"#000000">=A0

<div style=3D"font-family:'Times= New Roman';font-size:16px"><font color=3D"#000000">The Midwest Music I= nformation Retrieval Gathering is a one-day get together of music informati= on and music audio processing researchers, held at Northwestern University = just outside of Chicago in=A0<span class=3D"">Evanston, IL.
