As the Speech + Audio Research Intern, you=E2=80=99ll= help us pioneer the way we think about smart audio and voice control. Use your knowledge of statistical signal processing and machine learning to re-imagine how we listen to and control our music experiences. The team is currently involved in improving the current voice and audio solutions that can be found in, e.g., the recently launched Sonos One <https://www.engadget.com/2017/10/18/sonos-one-review/>. Ideally, you will have a background in the following disciplines: =E2=80=A2 Speech enhancement (microphone arrays, noise reduction, linear an= d nonlinear echo cancellation) =E2=80=A2 Speech classification (speech recognition, speaker identification= , keyword spotting) =E2=80=A2 Classification of acoustic scenes and events Alternatively, we will also consider candidates with a strong background in acoustical signal processing for spatial audio enhancement and object-based audio reproduction. The duration and period of the internship are flexible. The location is Santa Barbara, CA. About You Our band is large.
