Positions are available in the area= s of auditory physiology, psychoacoustics, MR imaging, and/or computational= modelling. The positions will be part of the collaborative research project UHeal betw= een the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), the Danish Research Centre f= or Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR), and the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute = at Harvard Medical School (HMS). The project is fully funded by the Novo No= rdisk Foundation. The aim of the project is to develop MRI-based imaging te= chniques to detect noise-induced neuropathy in the auditory periphery and t= o investigate its consequences for perception and central auditory brain pr= ocessing. The synergy project combines cellular physiology, microstructural= MRI, clinical electrophysiology, functional neuroimaging, psychoacoustics,= and auditory modelling.
