Until recently, we had hoped that we would be able to keep the originally planned date (June 2021) for the next ISH meeting, despite the pandemic. However, considering the current state of uncertainty regarding several factors that may impact the ability or willingness of potential participants to attend the event during this period (safety, travel, other meetings being postponed from this year to next year, =E2=80=A6), we have t= o make the difficult decision to postpone to June 2022. While we regret to not be able to uphold a long tradition of an ISH meeting every three years, we believe that postponing by one year is both prudent and preferable to switching to an online-only meeting, as this would strongly depart from the ISH spirit. The new dates for the meeting are: June 19-24, 2022. Dates for submitting papers and registering to the meeting will be postponed accordingly and information will be posted on our website ( https://ish2021.fr or https://ish2022.fr). We apologize for any inconvenience that this might cause you, and we look forward to welcoming you safely in Lyon in June 2022! The ISH organizing committee, Anne Caclin, Etienne Gaudrain, Nicolas Grimault, Mathieu Lavandier, Florence L=C3=A9ger, Christophe Micheyl --000000000000f662f005b05a6d85 Content-Type: text/html; charset="UTF-8" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable <div dir=3D"ltr">Dear colleagues and friends,<br><br>Here is some update ab= out the next International Symposium on Hearing (ISH) =C2=A0which will be o= rganized in Lyon, France.<br><br>Until recently, we had hoped that we would= be able to keep the originally planned date (June 2021) for the next ISH m= eeting, despite the pandemic.
