Each day will consist of tutorials and testimonials on how computational methods can be used in scientific research, followed by hands-on practice in small groups. Students will also be able to meet graduate, postdoctoral, and faculty mentors to discuss future career and research goals, as well as get connected to information regarding graduate programs, funding, scientific organizations, and labs based on their individual interests. The workshop is designed to encourage underrepresented groups to explore research and graduate opportunities in computing through mentorship and training.
