The succe= ssful applicant(s) will help to launch a project exploring the neurophysiol= ogical and algorithmic roots of human entrainment to musical rhythm. Depend= ing on their interests, students may take on aspects of the project includi= ng timing psychophysics, EEG, fMRI, and design of complex rhythmic stimuli,= and/or work with and develop computational models of rhythm perception inc= luding continuous-time Bayesian filters and recurrent neural networks.
