Much of the work will focus on modelling brain responses to such stimuli in healthy, neurotypical adults =E2=80=93 including modelling how the human br= ain processes linguistic meaning. However, there will also be opportunities to carry out research involving patients with schizophrenia and adolescents with a diagnosis of autism. * Laboratory Technician =E2=80=93 EEG Lab manager. A lab technician position is available to support projects on how the human brain encodes complex and natural stimuli. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team of biomedical and electrical engineers, neuroscientists and cognitive scientists. This person will perform complex and varied research laboratory assignments, including scheduling of human subjects for experiment participation and collecting both psychophysical and neurophysiological measures from those subjects. For more information, please contact Dr Edmund Lalor at edmund_lalor@xxxxxxxx To apply for either position, please submit a CV, short cover letter and contact information for two referees to Dr Edmund Lalor at elalor@xxxxxxxx Ed --=20 Edmund Lalor, PhD Associate Professor, Department of Biomedical Engineering and Department of Neuroscience, University of Rochester, Rochester, NY, USA.
