The successful candidate will be a recent or soon-to-be graduate from a PhD= program in Hearing Sciences, Engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, Comput= er Science, or related fields, and have an interest in auditory cortical pr= ocessing and aging. They will have strong computational skills (e.g. Python, MATLAB, R) and exp= erience with the design, conduct, and dissemination of research in the area= of audition, neuroscience, or (ideally) both. The CASA lab uses psychophysics, computational modeling, and multimodal neu= roimaging to understand how humans perceive and process sound. We have acce= ss to state-of-the-art facilities including high-density EEG, multiple 3T M= RI systems, and high-res eye-tracking.
