With new models (Laback 2023 <https://doi.org/10.1177/23312165231171988>; Smalt et al., 2014 <http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/s10162-013-0430-z>; Eurich et al., 2022 <http://dx.doi.org/10.1121/10.0011673>), updates of other models, as well as a few bug fixes and improvements. The detailed changes are enlisted here <http://amtoolbox.org/amt-1.4.0/doc/base/changes.php>. We thank all the contributors <http://amtoolbox.org/contributors.php>, especially Bernhard Eurich, Bernhard Laback, and Christopher Smalt! The AMT 1.4 for Matlab and Octave contains over 60 models <https://www.amtoolbox.org/models.php> from various areas of auditory research and written in various programming languages. The AMT documentation for the AMT 1.4.0 can be found here <http://amtoolbox.org/amt-1.4.0/doc/base/index.php>. Further, over 40 GB of auxiliary data, HRTFs, and cached modeling results are available for download on the fly. The AMT 1.4.0 has been tested for Matlab and Octave on Windows and Linux. Two release packages, the pure package <https://sourceforge.net/projects/amtoolbox/files/AMT%201.x/amtoolbox-1.4.0.zip/download> (2 MB) and the "full <https://sourceforge.net/projects/amtoolbox/files/AMT%201.x/amtoolbox-full-1.4.0.zip/download>package <https://sourceforge.net/projects/amtoolbox/files/AMT%201.x/amtoolbox-full-1.4.0.zip/download>" (all third-party toolboxes included, 11 MB) are available for download. The AMT is a community-driven project and would not exist without your help! If you find a bug or wish an improvement, please create a ticket in the "Issues <https://sourceforge.net/p/amtoolbox/bugs/>" section of the project.
