I use a startech parallel port pci card for the TTL trigger. Plus I have a creative labs audigy pci audio card. My triggers are pretty precise with this setup. Additionally, as a backup, I record the audio stimulus as an additional channel in the EEG. This gives me the ground truth of the audio in case for some reason the TTL triggers fail.
