The = BASH carries on the tradition of the Binaural Bash, which started at = Boston University over thirty years ago. The focus, as always, will be = on provocative research, puzzling results, and work in progress. = Submissions from both experienced and junior scientists are encouraged. =20 Location: The =E2=80=9CBASH base=E2=80=9D for 2026 will be in Omaha, = Nebraska at Boys Town National Research Hospital, with the organizing = team headed by Chris Stecker. Omaha is highly accessible and affordable, = with multiple good hotel options within 2 miles of the venue. =20 Timing: The BASH will run over two days (22-23 October). Thursday and = Friday morning sessions will coincide with the afternoon in Europe; the = Thursday afternoon session will allow some overlap with Friday morning = in Australia. Following tradition, on Thursday evening we will get = together for food and drinks at the host=E2=80=99s old house. =20 Format: We will emphasize in-person presentations while also doing our = best to accommodate participants who cannot attend in person. We will = host a zoom meeting to enable remote viewing of the talks and = participation in discussions. A limited number of remote presentations = may also be supported, but priority will be given to in-person = presenters. Remote participants are again encouraged to organize = small-group satellite gatherings to increase the fun. =20 Cost: Our plan is to keep the meeting itself free, though in-person = participants will need to cover their own transport and accommodation. =20 Students: For the first time this year we will be offering a limited = number of travel awards to offset the cost of attending for students. = This is possible thanks to co-sponsorship from the Acoustical Society of = America.
