The position focuses on auditory neural encoding and processing in pediatri= c and adult participants, including cochlear implant users. Research combin= es electrophysiology, neuroimaging, computational modeling, psychophysics, = and speech perception methods to study peripheral and central auditory func= tion and its interaction with cognition. The postdoctoral scholar will contribute to experimental design, data colle= ction, analysis, software development, manuscript preparation, and grant wr= iting, with opportunities for independent project development. Minimum Qualifications * Ph.D. in biomedical engineering, neuroscience, psychology, hearing sc= ience, computer science, or related field * Strong skills in data analysis and statistics * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Ability to work in collaborative, multidisciplinary teams * Strong motivation for an independent research career Preferred Qualifications * Experience in cochlear implants or auditory electrophysiology * Programming skills (MATLAB, Python, or similar) * Familiarity with human subjects research involving clinical populatio= ns.
