Varsha Rallapalli and I are excited to announce that we are taking applications for the Trainee Podium Award Session at Acoustics '27 in Brussels, Belgium (June, 2027). Trainees (students or postdocs) are encouraged to apply using the link below. Please submit a 200-word abstract, a CV, and a letter of recommendation. A panel of judges will review the submissions. Six (6) winners will be chosen based on scientific merit. Financial need will be used to break ties. The winners will receive at least a $750 travel stipend to help offset travel and lodging costs and will present their work in a special podium session at Acoustics '27 along with the other winners. The deadline to apply for this award is *November 20th, 2026.* Please note this is earlier than the official Acoustics '27 abstract submission deadline. Please use the link below to access the application form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSejNinPRanwzPmqVFkj0OBjAcdvXnZV4y1l_dhr4bTfEcE1NA/viewform?usp=header We would like to thank the Acoustical Society of America and the Psychological and Physiological Acoustics Technical Committee for helping make this travel award possible.
