Dear list members.

This request was sent to me by Brian Roberts. If
anybody has information on this subject, please respond to him directly.

I've e-mailed you now because BBC Radio wants me to talk briefly about whether
the emotional effects of music are "in the sound" or by association. I know
there is stuff on effects of familarity on preference, major vs minor keys,
etc., but know of no references. Any help (e.g. book chapter?) that you know
of would be very helpful.

All for now.

Best wishes,
