Assistant Professor Position
Department of Communicative Disorders
University of Wisconsin - Madison


The Department of Communicative Disorders, University of Wisconsin-Madison, has a tenure-track position available effective August 27, 2002, for an Assistant Professor in one or more of the following areas: diagnostic audiology, pediatric audiology, aural rehabilitation, auditory disorders, psychoacoustics, auditory or vestibular physiology.  Candidates will be expected to develop a program of independent research, to teach courses within the department in areas of specialty as well as in areas of departmental need, and to serve on departmental, College, and University committees.  Candidates trained in Communication Sciences or Disorders, Hearing Science, Psychology, Neurophysiology, and/or related fields who can address one or more of these areas are encouraged to apply. Some university level teaching experience and/or post-doctoral research experience is preferred, but not required. Salary is competitive and will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
