Actually, I have to say to be correct that I nearly completely agree with your
post.  Fitting to psychological comfort is sometimes contri-indicated as you
will know if you've worked with malingerers, Alzheimer's patients, patients with
Meniere's disease or other forms of inner pressure/ion dysfunction, ototoxisity
from drugs, etc.
