POST DOCTORAL FELLOWSHIP IN AUDITORY SCIENCE

 

£19,460 to £23,643 p.a. (Fixed Term for 2 Years)

 

A post-doctoral fellowship in auditory science is available within the School of Life and Health Sciences at Aston University.  

 

Neuroscience research at Aston is internationally renowned for the interdisciplinary study of sensory and cognitive function in normal and clinical populations, incorporating auditory and visual science, psychology, and neuroimaging. Neuroimaging facilities include whole-head MEG, MRI, TMS and multi-channel EEG.

 

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team at an internationally competitive level.

 

Preference will be given to applicants with a research interest in cochlear implants. In particular, research projects in perceptual studies (speech and music perception and psychophysics), signal processing for improved perception (electrical engineering), electrophysiology, or neuroimaging in adult or paediatric populations will be possible. Applicants with research interests in other areas of auditory science will also be considered.
