Re: Perceptual experiments


I've found the following two books invaluable for psychophysical experiments:

i) Detection Theory: A User's Guide by Neil A. Macmillan and C. Douglas Creelman
ii) A primer of signal detection theory

Besides which, there are texts on research design and methods for behavioral experiments (these texts are used in psychology programs a lot ) but I've never taken such a course myself, I just make it up as I go along :-))
