Re: AUDITORY Digest - 24 Oct 2008 to 26 Oct 2008 (#2008-218)

Hi Nadine,

I'm not sure if any of them has looked at selective attention per se, but the work of Pat Kuhl, Laurel Trainor, and Sandra Trehub might be good places to start looking.

Cheers,
Andy

Hello List! I am looking for studies that examined development  of
auditory selective attention using neuroimaging methods (EEG/MEG/fMRI).

I can find several studies for the visual domain but not for the
auditory domain?=20

I would highly appreciate any reference

Thanks in advance

I think only a couple or one of these addresses the question directly,
but their bibliographies might lead somewhere

Nadine,
There aren't that many studies on the development of auditory selective
attention.

Helen Neville's lab has some relevant studies, e.g.,
Coch D, Sanders LD, Neville HJ. 2005 An event-related potential study of
selective auditory attention in children and adults. J Cogn Neurosci. 17(4),
605-22.
I'd start there in your search.
