Assistant or Associate Professor: Central Auditory Processing

Department of Otology & Laryngology, Harvard Medical School

   The Eaton-Peabody Laboratories (EPL) at the Massachusetts Eye and
Ear Infirmary (MEEI) seek applications from neuroscientists interested
in central auditory processing. MEEI and EPL provide an
interdisciplinary and collaborative intellectual environment within an
active clinical setting. The research base includes 23 NIH-funded
investigators studying hearing and deafness, 4 studying balance
disorders and 15 studying vision and blindness. MEEI researchers
participate in teaching programs for graduate students, medical
students and residents, at both Harvard and MIT, including the Program
in Speech and Hearing Bioscience and Technology.

   Candidates should have an outstanding record of research
accomplishment and a strong desire for research collaboration. Funds
for a generous start-up package have been raised. Although
applications will be accepted until the position is filled, initial
evaluation will take place by April 1, 2009.  Interested candidates
