Re: Request for samples of sound source seperation

Dear Ian,

You should definitely have a look at the websites of the 2007 Stereo Audio Source Separation Evaluation Campaign (http://www.irisa.fr/metiss/SASSEC07/) and the 2008 Signal Separation Evaluation Campaign (http://sisec.wiki.irisa.fr/), which provide before and after audio samples for about 40 algorithms.

Best regards,

Hi all

I'm looking for before and after audio samples or examples demonstrating sound source seperation techniques. The technique used is not important.
It can be of any type of sound.

I would be grateful if you could respond if:
- your university department has a strong interest in this area and is willing to pass on some samples for my research. - you are aware of websites which have an amount of sound source seperation examples, regardless of the method used to seperate the sources. - you are aware of sound source seperation competitions and can give me some information on same.

thanks and regards
