Accommodation: The conference will be held at the Pillar & Post Inn, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario. Pillar and Post is located in a quiet residential area, surrounded by a wonder of gardens and only a five minute walk from Niagara-on-the-Lake's main street. Originally built in the late 1800s, it was used as a canning factory in the midst of Niagara's wine and fruit region. Since 1970 it has been gradually transformed into a luxurious country inn with 122 newly redesigned guestrooms, plus ample meeting space with the latest business amenities. Participants registering with the hotel before 5 September 2009 will receive the reduced room rate of $179/night (single or double). Stay at the conference hotel to be near all activities and your colleagues, and to help make the conference a financial success, to the benefit of all CAA members.

Social Events: The conference will begin on Wednesday morning with an opening ceremony and welcome by Prof. Kendra Schank Smith, Chair, Architectural Science Department, Ryerson University. On Wednesday evening, a reception will be held for all delegates, followed by a Soundscape Walk along the village's main street as well as a musical listening (and feeling) experience featuring the Emoti-chair.

Paper Submission: Please note that the participation of students is strongly encouraged and will be supported through travel and presentation awards.
