Dear friends in hearing, We are revising the undergraduate textbook Sensation & Perception, and are in need of new images for the cover. The 2 previous covers have employed visual illusions. While the flat surface of a book amply portrays images for the weak secondary sense of vision, I think we can agree that audition deserves more attention. If you have any images or ideas for a visually striking cover that relates to hearing, I'd be very grateful. The authors will choose the winning image. The winner will receive a $500 honorarium and a copy of the book as a reward and there will be a blurb in the front of the book describing the image and its authors. To submit your image(s) please email a version of modest size (ideally less than 1MB) to spcover@xxxxxxxxxxx. Submissions must be received by June 30th, 2011.
