Re: Head mounted displays

Dear AUDITORY list,
regarding Head Mounted Displays, does anyone know of any HMD that allows to directly connect 2 cameras (e.g. two synchronized colour CCTV cameras), so that one can see in real time what is being recorded by these cameras?
Thank you very much.
Best regards,
Ana Tajadura

Hi Pablo, I have done some work (although not exactly with VE) using the eMagin z800 - http://www.3dvisor.com/

You can get a modified version of it through Arrington Research that has eye-tracking integrated.

The stereovision is not completely straightforward and requires the right combination of software and video card, but otherwise the thing is very easy to set up.
