[AUDITORY] Noise sound file corpus anywhere?

Dear List Members,

Is there a data set of noise available for free and for commercial R&D
use?  This can be any type of industrial, machine, appliance, fan or
transportation (car, bus, train, aircraft) noise.

If there are such databases from standards organizations that would be
preferable.

I prefer .wav format or .mat files that can be written out as sound files.

Thank you for any information of where to download them.  Please don't
send .wav or .mat files to this e-mail address, which has disk space
limits.
