Research Audiologist – Heuser Hearing Institute, Louisville, KY

 

The Heuser Hearing Institute seeks a full-time research audiologist to join its research team. This is an opportunity for a skilled and creative individual to contribute and help shape a dynamic research mission broadly related to the diagnosis, characterization, and treatment of hearing impairment. The research audiologist will collaborate with hearing scientists at the Heuser Hearing Institute (contact: Dr. Pavel Zahorik) and Sonova (contact: Dr. Olaf Strelcyk). The ideal applicant will have had previous experience and a publication record in research, strong practical skills, including the use of audiological and psychoacoustic instrumentation, and a familiarity with quantitative methods of data and signal analysis, such as Matlab and R. Applicants must have earned an Au.D. or equivalent degree. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

 

The Heuser Hearing Institute is a multi-specialty nonprofit campus that promotes the needs of children and adults with disorders of hearing and balance. The Heuser Hearing Institute began in 1948 as the Louisville Deaf Oral School, and today serves Louisville and the surrounding region with an expanded mission that includes education, clinical care, and research components.
