The position that I mentioned in my previous message is now available 
and the deadline for applications is June 3rd.
I realize now that the web page, as well as the application form 
template, are in Italian language only, so I will be glad to help any 
international participant with writing the application.


To whom it may concern:
A position of University Researcher (type B) is available at the Physics 
Department of the University of Roma Tor Vergata (SC 02/D1, SSD FIS/07), 
in the framework of the extraordinary plan for recruiting researchers.
The position starts at the Assistant professor level, with a 
semi-automatic upgrade to Associate Professor after three years, if the 
candidate gets the Italian National Scientific qualification 
(Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale:
https://abilitazione.miur.it/public/index.php?lang=eng,
based on objective scientific indicator standards, and passes an 
internal commission judgement. Otherwise, the position expires.
PhD and Research experience are requested in the field of Physics 
Applied to Medicine.

The research activity will cover experimental and computational aspects 
of the physics of biological organisms, for diagnostic and therapeutic 
applications in Medical Physics, with a possible special focus on 
Physiological Acoustics and/or Particle Therapy.
