Within the scope of the Research Training Group 2416 – Multi
senses, Multi scales (DFG,
https://www.rtg2416.rwth-aachen.de) we focus on the perceptual
evaluation and cognitive processing of acoustic and audiovisual
stimuli. In this context, listening experiments are designed,
implemented, tested, and performed to challenge models of
cognition and gain a deeper understanding of cognitive
processes. The behavioral results of these experiments are
complemented by (electro-)physiological measures, such as the
electroencephalogram (EEG) to uncover new relationships between
bio signals and behavior.
