[AUDITORY] Invitation for contributing to FA2026

Dear Colleagues,

Forum Acusticum 2026 (FA2026), organized by the Austrian Acoustical Association, will be held in Graz (Austria), from September 8th to 12th, 2026.

Forum Acusticum is an annual international congress coordinated by a national acoustical society on behalf of the European Acoustics Association (EAA). The congress will be a world-leading event in the field of acoustics and a great opportunity for participants to meet in person, expand their knowledge, and share new techniques and competencies across the wide range of topics and interests that acoustics now addresses, both within our community and for society.

As organizer/co-organizer of the Topics:

  • A12.02 Data-driven methods in acoustics and vibration, under the Area “A12: Numerical, Computational, and Theoretical Acoustics”.
This session provides a platform for proposing and discussing data-driven approaches to tackle problems in computational Vibroacoustics.
  • A12.06 Validation and Benchmarks in Computational Acoustics, under the Area “A12: Numerical, Computational, and Theoretical Acoustics”.
The focus of the session is to present validation and benchmark cases for computational acoustics.
  • A23.05 Noise & Vibration Control, under the Area “A23: Vibro-Acoustics”.
The session serves as a platform for vibro-acoustic topics related to Noise and Vibration control.

We cordially invite you to submit a paper. You will be able to submit your paper via the Forum Acusticum 2026 website, starting in January 2026:
https://forum-acusticum.org/fa2026/.

Submission deadline for contributions that should undergo full-paper peer review is March 31 2026, and papers without full peer review can be submitted as title/abstract until April 30 2026. You can find author guidelines online, see:
https://forum-acusticum.org/fa2026/index.php/author-guidelines/.

Thank you in advance for your kind consideration. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Graz next September!

Sincerely,

Marcus Maeder
