[AUDITORY] PhD thesis opportunity on Developing the Audiosphere: a spatial audio platform for testing naturalistic auditory categorization

Dear colleagues and Acoustic Community,

I am pleased to share with you an exciting opportunity for a 3-year PhD project, co-directed between the CRNL (Lyon) and the LMA (Marseille), and fully funded by La Fondation pour l’Audition.
Project Overview

The successful candidate will investigate 3D sound stimulation in an animal model, combined with high-density neuronal recordings. This interdisciplinary project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research at the intersection of neuroscience and auditory perception.
Requirements

    Background in Physics/Acoustics (required)
Motivation and curiosity for experimental neuroscience
