Re: [AUDITORY] Adaptive Stroop task?

Hi Dr Patrick,

I recommend PsyToolkit - I was using it during my studies for research projects. There are other available tests there as well.
I believe the Stroop task there is the standard version, but the coding is modifiable.

Dear Auditory list,

However, it appears to require E-Prime proprietary software, and we're wondering if any of you know of good alternative platforms, code, or accessible versions of either the adaptive Stroop task or a standard Stroop task that she could use?

Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

Hi Patrick,

I have drafted up an email below to be sent out to find a suitable stroop task or measure of attention. Thanks!

Kia ora,

As part of my Honours research project, I am looking for a suitable measure of attention to compare participants’ performance before and after an auditory stimulus intervention.

I attempted to access the adaptive Stroop task used in a published article referenced below; however, it appears to require E-Prime software. I was therefore wondering whether there may be an alternative platform, existing code, or accessible version of either the adaptive Stroop task or a standard Stroop task that could be used for research purposes.

Any guidance or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
