SV: [AUDITORY] auditory illusion

Dear list and Al,

sound examples of the illusion are found under the heading “Supporting information” at about ¾ down the article page (http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0008151). You can easily find it by clicking “Supporting information” in the blue box at the top of the page ( “Jump to”) or perhaps this URL will take you directly there: http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi%2F10.1371%2Fjournal.pone.0008151#s4

Dear list and Leon,

I have fooled around in the past with sequences that seem to speed up or slow down indefinitely.  I was interested to read about the sequence created by Guy Madison, cited by Leon. But I couldn't find an audio demo associated with the article, although I would have liked to hear it.
